I help organisations design and deliver enterprise integration strategies — bridging platforms, teams, and processes to create seamless digital experiences.
About me
I'm an Integration Architect with deep expertise in cloud-native integration platforms. My focus is on helping enterprises unlock value from their technology stacks — not by locking them into a single vendor, but by designing systems that are flexible, scalable, and genuinely fit for purpose.
I've worked across industries including financial services, retail, and the public sector, designing integration layers that sit at the heart of digital transformation programmes.
Whether you're migrating from on-premise to the cloud, connecting SaaS applications, or building event-driven architectures from scratch — I bring both the technical depth and the architectural thinking to get it right.
Capabilities
What I do
From strategy to delivery — I work with organisations at every stage of their integration journey.
Define a clear, scalable integration roadmap aligned to your business goals. Platform selection, reference architecture, and governance frameworks.
Design REST and event-driven APIs that are well-documented, secure, and built to last. API lifecycle governance and developer experience best practices.
Connect cloud applications across ERP, CRM, HR and more. Whether greenfield or hybrid, I deliver integrations that are reliable and maintainable.
Help your organisation navigate platform migrations, legacy modernisation, and complex multi-system transformations with reduced risk and clear delivery milestones.
Independent review of existing integration landscapes — identifying risks, gaps, and opportunities before investment decisions or platform transitions.
Upskill your in-house team with hands-on coaching, pattern libraries, and practical guidance on integration best practices and platform tooling.
How I work
Every project is different — but the discipline stays the same.
Understand your current landscape, business objectives, pain points, and constraints. No assumptions.
Produce architecture blueprints, data flow models, and integration patterns tailored to your context.
Hands-on implementation or oversight — ensuring quality, security, and performance are non-negotiable.
Knowledge transfer, documentation, and ongoing support so your team can own and evolve the solution.
Selected work
A selection of integration challenges I've helped organisations navigate. Click any project to see the detail.
The challenge
A national retailer was manually reconciling orders between their legacy Oracle EBS system and a new Shopify storefront. The process was error-prone, slow, and required two full-time staff just to manage data corrections.
What I did
Designed and delivered a real-time integration layer using a cloud iPaaS platform to synchronise product catalogue, inventory levels, and order fulfilment data between EBS and Shopify. Built error handling, alerting, and an operational dashboard for the support team.
Business outcome
Manual reconciliation eliminated entirely. Order processing time reduced from 24 hours to near real-time. Team redeployed to higher-value work. ROI achieved within 4 months of go-live.
The challenge
A regional bank had over 60 point-to-point integrations with no documentation, no versioning, and no ownership model. Every system change risked cascading failures. New digital initiatives were being blocked by integration debt.
What I did
Led an API rationalisation programme — auditing all existing integrations, defining an API governance framework, and implementing an API management platform. Established design standards, a developer portal, and a centre of excellence to sustain it going forward.
Business outcome
Integration incidents dropped by 70% in the first year. New partner onboarding time cut from 6 weeks to 5 days. The bank successfully launched three new digital products on the new API layer within 12 months.
The challenge
A government agency was migrating from an on-premise HR system to Oracle HCM Cloud. The core challenge was maintaining continuity of 14 downstream system integrations — including payroll, access management, and workforce reporting — during and after the transition.
What I did
Architected the integration strategy for the migration, mapping all existing data flows and designing replacement integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC). Managed a phased cutover approach with parallel-run validation to ensure zero disruption to payroll processing.
Business outcome
Zero payroll disruptions across a workforce of 4,000+ employees. All 14 integrations migrated on schedule. The new integration layer reduced ongoing maintenance effort by 40% compared to the legacy setup.
The challenge
A healthcare provider needed to share patient events (admissions, discharges, referrals) in real time across a network of clinics and specialist providers. Legacy batch file transfers were creating dangerous delays in care coordination.
What I did
Designed and delivered an event-driven integration architecture using a publish-subscribe messaging model. Worked with clinical informatics and IT security teams to ensure HL7-compliant messaging, end-to-end encryption, and full audit logging for regulatory requirements.
Business outcome
Patient event notifications delivered in under 2 seconds vs. up to 4-hour delays previously. Improved care coordination across 8 clinic sites. Audit-ready data lineage met compliance requirements ahead of schedule.
Client feedback
Brought clarity to a chaotic integration landscape that had grown organically for years. The architecture review alone saved us months of rework.
Deep technical knowledge paired with an ability to communicate clearly to executives. Rare combination and exactly what we needed for our Oracle Cloud programme.
